The student activity book does exactly as described – it makes it easier for your child to work on their own. If you prefer not to spend $20 on this book, you can definitely use this program with only the teacher’s manual. You could use this activity book without the teacher’s manual, but it would be harder , creating more work for Mom (or Dad!) to figure out and correct the lessons.
