Buying Homeschool Curriculum Online
Because I am buying curriculum for more than one child, I shop around for the best prices on the products I am purchasing. Aside from ordering online directly from publishers, here are other places
to purchase curriculum.

Amazon I purchase most of our reference books, reading books, workbooks and math books (they sell Singapore Math and Explode the Code at Amazon for less than other online stores) online at Amazon. After comparing prices at different online retailers, 9 out of 10 times Amazon prices have been cheaper.
BONUS: When I spend more than $25.00 at a time, I receive free shipping. Can't beat that!
Christian Book
(this link takes you directly to their homeschool curriculum section) Christian Book is similar to Amazon.com except that they specialize in, you guessed it, Christian titles. I am often able to find Christian based curriculum here - they have entire homeschool section. Sign-up for the mailing
list and you will receive notice of free shipping offers and other special discounts.

Christian Home School Curriculum
HomeSchool Super Center offers an accredited Christian home school curriculum. Click now for K-12 homeschool curriculums and receive an info package about home school curriculums.
Professor Mom's Schoolhouse
Offers homeschool curriculums and supplemental resources including student workbooks, student textbooks and teacher's editions.
Homeschooling Supply
This online store offer over 20,000 homeschool curriculum products, microscopes and science products, toys and home schooling resources for parents, teachers, schools, families. You pay no sales tax.

Love to Learn
This is an online store (they also have a regular store in Utah) ran by a homeschooling family. They have a large selection of curriculum and books, all at very good prices. The shipping is slightly slower than Amazon's free saver shipping (unless you pay for faster shipping) and during
back to school times, they are often out of stock of popular items.
Usborne Books at Home
I love Usborne books. The prices are not only affordable, making it possible to invest in the nice hard cover editions to add to our library. I have not purchased any of their reading books, only the dictionary and books in the science, animal and history series.
If you do not have an Usborne consultant, you can find one near you to order online from.
I will watch ebay regularly when I am in need of new supplies and if I find something I need and the price with shipping is right, I will place a bid. Beware, just because it's fon ebay does not necessarily make it a good deal.
If you have a favorite homeschool discussion forum you frequently visit, check to see if they have a curriculum swap board. I have purchased many used books this way and have saved a lot of money doing so.
You can also check your local Craigslist.org for curriculum. I have seen numerous homeschool curriculum for sale in my area.
I do visit our local teacher's store, however I find that even with shipping fees, it is usually cheaper to purchase online.
Garage sales are a great place to find reading books, as are thrift stores. I have been able to buy books (in very good condition) for less than .50 cents! My only word of caution when buying curriculum is that even if it appears to be a good deal, if you will not ever use it - don't buy it!
